So what is a women's fraternity/sorority (really)?

Women's fraternities (or sororities, as they are more commonly known) are sisterhoods with chapters at accredited colleges and universities across Canada and the United States. Sororities offer young women the opportunity for lifetime learning and personal development in a positive environment.
