So how do I become a member?

The process of getting to know women's fraternities on campus is called "Partially Structured Recruitment' or PSR. Recruitment allows you to learn more about fraternity life and decide if membership is for you. PSR is a partially organized and structured set of activities where all women's fraternities recruit members at the same time. It is usually held over a 1 or 2 week period, which is where the old term 'rush week' comes from. You will have the opportunity to visit each women's fraternity and become acquainted with current members. As a potential member, you will be placed in a 'rotation group' with other potential members, and your group will be assigned a Recruitment Counselor A Recruitment Counselor is a fraternity member who has temporarily disaffiliated from her chapter, and is there to provide you with unbiased advice and information during the recruitment process. She will accompany your group to each of the events, and act as a guide and resource for you.
